It is not enough to progress as
individuals while our friends
and neighbors are left behind.

dreams.
Apoyo—(Support)

receive referrals to meet basic needs.
Saber—(Learning)
A center for personal growth to gain life, educational, vocational and
leisure skills...to reach self-sufficiency and improve quality of life.
Acción—(Action)
A point to discover a personal and collective voice, and to focus on
moving toward a brighter future.
Our Mission
The mission of CASA de Esperanza is to enhance the quality of life
for those in need on the Coast, primarily among the Latino
community Through educational, vocational, cultural and social
services, we promote social and economic well-being, meet basic
human and community needs, and seek to increase cultural
consciousness and understanding among the diverse groups of the
community.
CASA is evolving from the Coastside Catholic Worker’s initial
primary focus of providing direct service to immigrants and others in
need on the Coast to concentrating on a variety of educational,
organizing and advocacy activities designed to address the multiple
conditions of poverty and disenfranchisement that control the lives
of many Latino immigrants.
Now is the time!
As we begin organizing programs for this important project, we are
looking for a building. We estimate that such a place would cost
around $3 million. If you can help, please call! (650-726-6606)
